How to Measure
Band size: wrap a soft tape measure snugly around your ribcage, directly under your bust, keeping it level and parallel to the floor. Round to the nearest whole number.
Cup size: measure around the fullest part of your bust, without compressing it. Subtract your band measurement from this bust measurement — the difference in inches maps to a cup letter (1" = A, 2" = B, 3" = C, 4" = D, and so on).
Measure while wearing a well-fitting, non-padded bra for the most consistent results, and remeasure periodically since band and bust size can shift over time.
US to EU bra size conversion
For the band, US/UK 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38 and 40 usually map to EU 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85 and 90. The cup label is a guide only above D because UK, US and brand-specific sequences can split into DD, E, F and beyond.
UK to US and US to UK cup notes
UK and US bands use the same inch number, but cups diverge after D. If you wear DD or larger, compare the brand's own cup sequence before ordering.
Sister sizes
Sister sizes keep a similar cup volume by moving one band size up and one cup down, or one band size down and one cup up. For example, 34B is near 32C and 36A, but the band feel will change.

Common sizing differences and mistakes
The most common mistake is converting only the cup letter. A B cup on a 34 band does not have the same volume as a B cup on a 40 band, so always convert band and cup together.
Another common issue is assuming every brand uses the same DD/E/F order. Many UK brands use DD, E, F, FF, G, while many US labels use DD/E, DDD/F and G. Check the retailer's chart for DD+ sizes before buying.
