International Size Guide for Shoppers

Shop international sizes with confidence using conversion tips for shoes, clothing, rings, bras and accessories plus links to free size converter tools.

International shopping is easier than ever, but size labels still vary by region, brand and category. A US shoe size does not translate like a US dress size, and an EU ring number is not based on the same logic as an EU clothing label. Start with the measurement, not the label, then use a converter to map that measurement across systems.

Start With the Measurement

For shoes, measure foot length in centimeters and compare it with the Shoe Size Converter. For clothing, measure chest, waist and hips before using the Clothing Size Converter. Rings, bras and accessories each require their own measurement method, so avoid guessing from a size label alone.

Use Category-Specific Tools

A single universal size chart cannot accurately cover every product type. Use the Ring Size Converter for circumference and diameter, the Bra Size Converter for band and cup systems, and accessory tools for belts, hats, gloves and watch bands. Each category has different regional naming rules.

Check the Seller Chart Before Checkout

After converting your size, compare the result with the retailer's own chart. Brands often cut slim, relaxed, wide or narrow even when the label looks familiar. If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose based on the item type: size up for outerwear and belts, but be more precise for shoes, rings, helmets and fitted garments.
